Today was the NYP Adventure Race....which I had initially took part with Rabbit [Reka] but unfortunately, due to unenthusiasm, I ended up teaming up with my Dino [Nisa]. The whole race was quite fun and interesting and the planning was simply awesome and fool-proof[Kudos to the team for that].
Here's the whole plan of the race:
1)The first obstacle was the Sudoku challenge in which we had to go around the school, hunting for clues. It was rather interesting to be going up and down, looking left and right for the clue while collaborating with the others. I got trouble from my legs-it was so painful running and even walking, that I just gave up and took them out-walking around in my socks.
2)We had to walk all the way to Seletar reservoir then do canoeing then walk back to school. It was rather fun doing canoeing-very enjoyable. I hd forgotten to bring my medicine-so I was alredy punctured at the start, really couldn't run[am very sorry My Dino for that-truly sorry].Haha for some reason, whenever Dino paddled, the canoe would go in the direction it was not suppose to. In the end, after stepping into the water with our shoe and socks on, bumping into the trees and going to wrong directions, we managed to put together and finish the task.
3)After arriving back in school-next task involved going into the SWIMMING POOL[WooHoo]. We had to pull ourselved to the other side, look inside the pool to memorize a picture then answer a question related to the picture. In my opinion, Nisa was rather a nerve wreck-asking all the question and the way she went-haha it ws very cute. But I am so proud of her that she pulled herself across to the end-Well Done, my Dino! Next, when I went, the stupid life vest irritated me lots-it was like it was trying to choke me! Haha, I looked at the picture and just had a brief glimpse. When, I reached the end adn the question allocated to us was-How many drinks were there in the picture?-I was totllay dumbstruck. I hadn't counted it!!! Haha, thankfully, the facilitator gave us option-11,12 and 13-I just guessed 12-And it was RIGHT!! Haha, awesome lucky guess!!
However, our passport got wet and it was totally wet! When we took it out, it broke into pieces. We didn't know what to do!! The facilitator even told us to be DQ!!!Our hearts totally sank-to be DQ after doing and going through those activities!!! Luckily, Nisa just decided to go through with our passport being in the pathetic state!
4)For this part, we had to do archery! We were given five attempts to shoot atleast 3/5 shots into the blue/yellow or red areas. For our first attempt, we failed. I shot once and it landed on the black area-haha. We tried another round-and this time we did it!! Haha.....it was rather fun.
5)This part involved absailing and belaying. Dino did absailing while I was the belayer. When Nisa had to absail down, I was rather freaked out at the tot that her safety totally lied with me!! If I were to let go of the rope-that would be it!!!
6)On our way to this checkpoint, it had started to drizzle!!! We had to navigate around the whole field given the degree and metres and find number tags to fill in the answers. For our first attempt, we went off course and were unable to find our fourth answer so we decided to redo! This time, we found all the correct answers except the last one[unable to find it]. So, we jsut stopped at 5 and lucky for us, the five were correct.
7)We reached this check point to find out that they had 'Closed Shop'...haha so we just made our way to the last checkpoint-the finishing point.
Overall-the whole event was really very fun as well as exhausting! I am so thankful to Nisa for understanding and tolerating me. I am very happy to have done this event with you-Thanks a lot for everything!! These kind of events test everything-from ur stamina to ur capability to u overcoming ur fear as well as ur frenship! For someone to ask the fren to move aside and hurt the fren for the objective of going ahead-haha......[I may be very Sensitive but it was really painful-both internally and externally!]! I am so thankful that Nisa tolerated and motivated me...So happy that Azlina felt proud of me not giving up-haha am so happy with myself as well-I overcame every temptation to give up! My objective of joining the race was to just go and have fun and enjoy every obstacle in the way. I did the race while walking around only in my socks....walk in it all the way to the caoening place and all the way back with the sock tearing half way to the place, I am happy that I did it and didn't give up at all!!
I fell flat upon reaching home and am now walking around with an aching body! Every step hurts so much,my soles are so painful and sore and there is so much work to be done!! Haha, as they say-this is LIFE!

Missing Him
I am so missing him right now......no matter how we were before, it is so different not having him around.......No one to fight the laptop or the phone over with, no one to disturb me, no one for me to disturb., no one for me to scold and shout at......The house is like so totally QUIET without him-it is like coming home to an empty place.....One thing I regret-not going to send him off [but even if I had gone, his fren wud have irritated me off n as usual, he wud have supported his fren!]It's only been 2 days and I am like this, how am I going to survive all the way till February? He won't be there for Christmas, for my lil bro's b'day, to tease me when I cry on New Year's Eve-he is gonna be so missed for so many things..........
On the other side-am so jealous that he is gonna be enjoying himself, meeting cousins, going places and most importantly meeting my grandparents-Miss them so much!
But, wadeva, no matter wad I feel, say or write, nothing is gonna change, I didn't get to go during my hols-it is a fact that has been sealed and left to collect dust.......He was lucky enuf to get a chance to go, to have people welcoming him, people who are happy with his arrival, people who didn't give a shit care abt me, people who think that i wud be redundant wherever I go....I guess that is wad my life is abt-People feeling that I am a redundant person who is just using up too much space and breathing up too much oxygen...........
For some reason, I have just been feeling very down lately in terms of -Family, Friends, Relationships, School and Life-Life is seriously just sucky for me at the moment!!!As usual-Parde ke Piche Parda re...[There's a mask behind a mask on every face].
Guess I have to liven up a bit and life and enjoy life while I can, Live every minute while making it a happy wan [said by a fren].
Am gonna try and do so..................We shall see :)
Stupid Me
Today is the anniversary of the day when I decided to take the stupid decision of changing my life for the worse-the reason being the stupid incident.......
I dont know why I was so naive to believe that I could prevent any such incident by changing myself to who I am today. I tot that if I did what I did, everything would go smoothly but how was I to know, at that time, that I would be making my life more miserable.
How was I to know, at that time, that people would ridicule at me as well as judge me for who I am on the outside?
Whatever it is, whatever happened has happened, nothing can change the past, no one can predict whatever is going to happen in the future.........WHATEVER IS WRITTEN IN OUR FATE, WOULD TAKE COURSE NO MATTER WHAT!
At the time when I need my friends the most, I feel neglected by them. Though I am there when they cry, I have no shoulder to lean on.....When I need someone to be there for me, they are not there at all. I have no one to share my pain as well as trouble with, no one who I can be confident that would be there to take care of me if I were to fall sick.....
This makes me realise that in the end, who is there for me? Only my family....even relatives can't be trusted as to when they can change.....................So why even bother making friends at all?-Answer: so that we can make use of each other during the course of time that we are together....So WHY BOTHER-JUST ENJOY YOUR TIME AND DO YOUR BEST FOR YOUR STUDIES......

Standard Chartered
Met up with Rachel then we made our way to school. First time going to school so late-it was so weird tapping in to go in.....went to the meeting room....slacked all the way till 2....got up then we took the bus to Padang.
We were briefed a while then we slept!! Can't believe that I actually fell asleep on the ground!!! First experience....it was weird..Then we woke up and did out job which was to usher the runners to their appropriate stands while telling them to not sit at the steps.
One thing is for sure-Singaporeans don't know how to listen to people and there are some who if they see others commiting suicide, they would also go and follow suit! It was so freaking irritating! Telling them to move in then they would od their head and yet just stay there then there were those who when told to move would say-but those people are still there what. Even the security people gave up hope on them. Seriously, people should have a mind of their own and learn to listen to people cause whatever is said is for own as well as others benefit.
There were a few weird runners-firstly, there was a wedding couple along with the priest who was even carrying a holy bible 'book', there was a 66-year-'young' Spiderman who ran 42.195 KM! Then, there was the Kids Dash-which was so freaking cute.......some kids were walking while some were being carried by their parents.OMG-I am sure the youngest one was only a few months old! Haha they were really very cute.
The weather was so freakin weird-it was so cold during the night but so freaking hot in the morning and afternoon. Was really very tired and moreover, irritated at the thigns we were told to do! Obviously, these people had a lot of money to waste employing so many people. Was really very sick at the end of it. Vomitted once then when, I went back, I saw stars in front of me. Was so scared that would faint then the poor people would have to carry me haha...so made my way to the resting place. After a while more, it was finally OVER!
Decided to take bus home but got confused and in the end, called down my friend and took MRT with her.
Went home, it is so quiet now since my bro is gone-Am sure he is gonna enjoy himself alot but he would surely be missed........slept until 8, woke up to find the whole house EMPTY!! then went back to sleep waking up at 10 plus .I had to take ICT answers from Nisa. Wasn't feeling so well-vomitted around 4-5 times, went back to sleep again while planning to wake up at 6...haha woke up at 6.45, woke Nisa up but went back to sleep myself haha.....finally awoke at 8! Studied ICT abit-the test am sure am gonna be a GONER but whatver, I seriously don't understand it a bit! Whatver....hahaha.........Got to go and get ready!

Kick It '07
Friday-spent the day in school. Met up with Nisa at YCK Station then went to school. Rachel came and then we indulged in SHAKER FRIES-HAHA. We were eating the fries like crazy. Anyway, after that, went to AMK-bought a headband and bubble tea.[Haha-had bought my sneakers on Thursday-Love 'em Lots!]
Went back to school then after a while, we went to Jalan Kayu to eat-OMG the food was really very filling-Me and Rachel had decided to share 2 egg and 1 plain prata and also iced milo. However, we were full with one egg prata itself!
Went back to school and slacked around here and there. Then, we went outside and chatted away till 3 plus. Fell alseep then woke up around 5 plus. Bathed and got ready-my eyes were like ghosts......
Anyway, the whole Kick It '07 event was lots of fun....there was hot sun streaming on our faces but nevertheless, the pros outweighed the cons. But, at the event of it, there was an announcement for which I have nothing to say.....but one thing is for sure-I just realised that since when am I so attached to this club? Why do I have feelings for it? I wasn't like this for my previous CCAs...then, why the change now? Though, I don't know the reason, one thing is for sure-I am gonna learn to distant myself so that won't be hurt by it again. Unexpected things certainly do happen and shock you away, though you may not understand the reason why at all.....
Came home and slept for a while....have to go for Standard Chartered later on.......
